Experience the excitement of performing in Jingle Blades – Spellbound on Ice, Idaho IceWorld's professionally choreographed annual holiday production presented in partnership with the Boise Figure Skating Club.

Whether it's your first time on the ice or you're a returning performer, the Annual Boise Ice Show offers an unforgettable opportunity to:

  • Perform in a professionally produced ice show.

Before You Register

Costume Sizing Instructions

Costume sizing is required during registration. Before registering, please review the Costume Sizing Instructions and measure the skater carefully. Participants (or a parent/guardian) are responsible for providing accurate measurements during registration. Costumes are ordered based on the measurements provided, and changes may not be available after registration closes.

Who Can Participate?

The Annual Boise Ice Show is open to:

  • Learn to Skate participants beginning at Snowplow Sam 2 and above.
  • Teen and Adult Learn to Skate participants.
  • Pre-Free Skate, Free Skate, and Aspire skaters (registration instructions vary by age).

Participation Requirements

To participate in the Annual Boise Ice Show, Learn to Skate participants must:

  • Be registered for both Fall Learn to Skate sessions.
  • Participate in both Fall Learn to Skate sessions.
  • Maintain a current 2026–27 Learn to Skate USA Membership.
  • Attend scheduled weekly rehearsals and mandatory dress rehearsals.
  • Participate in all scheduled ice show performances.

How to Register

Idaho IceWorld Learn to Skate Participants

The following participants register through the City of Boise Parks and Recreation activity registration system.

  • Snowplow Sam 2–4
  • Basic 1–6
  • Teen/Adult Learn to Skate
  • Teen Free Skate (Ages 14–18)
  • Adult Show Cast 

Please register for the level that most closely matches your current skating level. Performance groups will be adjusted as needed after registration.


Pre-Free Skate, Free Skate & Aspire Registration

Registration for these skaters depends on age.

Ages 13 & Under

If your skater is:

  • Pre-Free Skate
  • Free Skate 1–6
  • Aspire

They will participate in the 13 & Under Aspire Show Cast through the Boise Figure Skating Club.

Registration for this group will be completed through the Boise Figure Skating Club's EntryEeze registration system.

Boise Figure Skating Club Membership is NOT Required

Skaters do not have to be members of the Boise Figure Skating Club to participate in the 13 & Under Aspire Show Cast.

However, they must be enrolled in one of the following:

  • Idaho IceWorld Learn to Skate classes, or
  • Boise Figure Skating Club Aspire classes.

EntryEeze Registration

Registration through the Boise Figure Skating Club's EntryEeze website will be available soon.

If your skater is 13 years old or younger and participates in either Idaho IceWorld Learn to Skate classes or Boise Figure Skating Club Aspire classes, please contact Kelley Canning. Once EntryEeze registration becomes available, registration instructions will be provided.


Ages 14–18

If your skater is:

  • Pre-Free Skate
  • Free Skate 1–6
  • Aspire 1–4 

Please register for the:

Teen Free Skate Show Cast through the City of Boise Parks and Recreation Activity registration system.


Adult Skaters

Adult Learn to Skate participants and Adult Free Skate skaters should register for the:

Adult Show Cast through the City of Boise Parks and Recreation Activity registration system.

Mandatory Dress Rehearsals

Attendance at both dress rehearsals is required.
