Power Play Sunday
Buy one get one FREE admission and skate rental. Normal Public session times are from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Times are subject to change and/or cancellations.
Family Night Wednesday
Wednesday night is Family Night from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Admission and skate rental only $6.00 per person! Times are subject to change and/or cancellations.
Parent-Tot Skate Thursday
For those with little ones, on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. is PARENT-TOT Skate! An adult with child, 8 years old and under, is just $5 per person. This price includes admission and skate rental. AND, you may bring your stroller onto the ice during this session! During the summer, please check our Public Skate Schedule for exact times, which may vary slightly due to summer camps and clinics.
Home School Skate Friday
Friday Days (day Public Skate hours only) are "Home School Skate Days" where admission and skate rentals are only $5.50 per person during our daytime (not evening) Public Skate sessions. Public Skate times are subject to change or cancellations. Available to those that are home-schooled.
Food Bank Friday
Friday is also Food Bank Friday, bring a qualifying non-perishable food item (no glass jars, no home-made items, please) and receive a FREE skate rental. Feel free to contact the Boise Idaho Food Bank regarding what items are eligible for donation: (208) 577-2750.
Book a group at Idaho IceWorld and enjoy a wonderful day of skating! Groups are scheduled during regularly scheduled public skating times only. Discounts cannot be combined with other specials and/or coupons. We have special rates for all sizes of groups. Prices include public session admission and skate rental. All groups need to be booked as far in advance as possible and payment in full is due upon check-in. Idaho IceWorld does not invoice. Call (208) 608-7716 to book your group outing.

If you would like to claim tax-exempt status, an ST101 is required to be verified before your visit in order to facilitate your tax exempt payment upon arrival. To determine eligibility of tax exempt status and to make tax exempt arrangements ahead of time, please call (208) 608-7719.

Times are subject to change and/or cancellations. Please check our website calendar or call us ahead of time for possible last minute schedule changes, as updates or cancellations may occur due to private events, partnership obligations, or consecutive days of extreme heat during summer months. Payment in full is due at check-in.
- Helmets are optional but strongly recommended. Helmet with the cage is the best option for beginners.
- Jackets should allow for easy mobility. Layering is the best option (undershirt, long sleeve shirt, jacket).
- Make sure gloves or mittens fit properly and are waterproof.
- Pants need to allow free movement and in the beginning levels offer some padding. Snow pants are a good option for starters.
- Make sure skates are tied securely and snug at the ankle.
- Socks are required: it's recommended skaters wear higher length socks (above the ankle to approximately mid-calf) to help prevent chaffing or blistering of bare skin against the inside of the skate "boot"
