Includes skate rental, instruction from experienced certified instructors, snacks, games, friendship and fun in a secure, family friendly environment. Receive a camp T-shirt to wear for the final day performance when skaters show off the skills they’ve learned throughout the week. Skating fans should plan to arrive on Friday at 11:30 am for the performance.
Love2SK8 Intermediate Skating Camp (Basic 5 through Free Skate 6 / No-Test)

Participants will benefit from intense on and off ice training. Guest clinician, Michael Villarreal and staff instructors will work with skaters on development of level appropriate on ice elements, while Certified Personal Trainer, Jessica Majxner addresses off ice conditioning and nutrition. Skaters will receive a camp T-shirt and can earn Basic Skills badges.
Pre-Free Skate (formerly Basic 7 & 8) - For ages 7 & up. Prerequisite master of Basic 6 elements. Forward inside open Mohawk from a stand still position, R to L & L to R. Backward outside edge to forward outside edge transition on a circle, both directions. Backward crossovers to a backward outside edge glide (landing position), both directions. Two forward crossovers into a forward inside Mohawk, step down and cross behind, step into one backward crossover and step to a forward inside edge, both directions. One-foot upright spin. Mazurka, R&L. Waltz jump. Backward inside pivots, both directions.

Free Skate 1 - 6 - Designed to introduce the skater to the next level of figure skating. Class will concentrate on beginning jumps; spin techniques; and moves in the field tests. Skater must have passed Pre-Free Skate.

Teen - Designed for teenagers 13 - 18 yrs. Classes will follow the Learn to Skate USA Adult curriculum, which is more progressive than the Basic 1 - 6 and Pre-Free Skate curriculum.

Adaptive Skating - Ages 5 & up. This adaptive recreation class is designed to give individuals with disabilities the opportunity to increase their personal potential through the development of ice skating skills. Students will receive instruction based upon their individual needs and goals. Some adaptive equipment is available for use at no extra cost. Scholarship opportunities are available.
